Moises Patricio Gonzalez Carrillo

Moises Patricio Gonzalez Carrillo, 40, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019.  Born in Mexico City on March 17, 1978, the son of Moises Jose Gonzalez Monjaras and Virginia Carrillo. Patricio enjoyed being an activist, serving as a community leader.  He loved to dance, listen to music and be the DJ of the party.  He always wanted to gather family and friends whether it would be for gatherings or just because he loved to be surrounded by the people he loved. 

Patricio is survived by his mother, Virginia; daughter, Ariana Sofia; sisters Rosangel, Monica and Marisol and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at St. Edward Catholic Church with visitation starting at 9:00 a.m.
