Ronald Szweistis

Ronald J Szweistis, 68 of Poplar Grove, passed away Sunday January 19, 2020. Born March 6, 1951, in Aurora, the son of Leonard and Frances (Tintinger) Szweistis.  Ronald married Pamela B Davis on Oct 31, 1997. He chose this date because it was a frightening experience and he would remember the date.
Ronald had 3 brothers Leonard Jr (Sunny Jean), Robert (Marianne) and James (Suzy), and nieces, nephews and cousins. He became a step father to 5 children Bradley, Randall, Scott (Jennifer Samuelson), Kathryn and Matthew Davis and 2 grandsons Chance and Beckett Davis.  Ronald’s family spent a lot of their summers in Spooner - Hayward Wisconsin in their trailer at the lake.  Ronald loved motorcycles and to this day still has his BMW and Kawasaki which went into storage after he married. He was also a huge fanatic of the military collecting many model kits of tanks, fighter jets, etc.  Ronald wasn’t a big sports fan, but Pam changed that. He started following NASCAR Racing, the Cubs, Blackhawks and the Bears.
Ronald was proceeded in death by his parents, brother Leonard Jr and just recently step son Scott.
Ronald wouldn’t talk about his thoughts on death, so he is being cremated and next spring with have his ashes placed next to his parents in Oswego, IL
