Albert Ray Cartwright

Albert R. Cartwright, 80, of Belvidere passed away Friday, January 30, 2026, in his home.  Born October 10, 1945, in Los Angeles, California, the son of Charles and Lola (Austin) Cartwright.  Albert enlisted in the United States Navy and retired in 1992.  He was proud to be a veteran of the United States Navy.  He married Charlotte Robin in Pasadena, California on June 7, 1976; she preceded him in death in 2011.  After retiring from the Navy, Albert was an over the road trucker for over 20 years.  He was an avid Harley rider and was a member of the VFW Post 1461, assisting with honors.

Albert is survived by several nieces and nephews.
