Alfonso Ramirez

Alfonso G. Ramirez 73 of Belvidere, IL passed away on August 8, 2021 at his home surrounded by the people who loved him.  Leann Endicott, Linda McGraw,  Paul Tyler, Kari Serrano and Dianne Baumann, a long time friend stood by his side and cared for him during his final days on this Earth.
His brother Enrique and sister Rosalba flew in from Mexico to honor Alfonso's other siblings and spend time showing their deep love for their brother during his illness.
Alfonso was born May 15, 1948 in Uriquizo, COAH, Mexico to Roberto Ramirez Salazar and Maria de la Luz Gonzalez Solis.
He was a retired plant manager at a factory in Princeville.
Alfonso and his common law wife of 15 years, Kari Serrano, loved spending time at off track betting and taking long car rides and walks with their dog "Charlie". 
Alfonso loved life and was loved by many.
He is survived by 10 siblings of Mexico: Maria del Rosario, Jose Gerardo, Rosalba, Saul, Roberto, Enrique, Ma. Conception, Antonio, Miguel Angel and Selene.  2 adult children of Peoria- Poncho Ramirez and Angelia Ramirez, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and  nieces and nephews of mexico.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Blanca and Ana Rosalie.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
