Alice L. Aumiller

Alice Lorraine 87, of Belvidere IL, passed away on December 19,2024. Alice was born October 7th, 1937, the daughter of Hugo and Ruth Weiher. She was one of four siblings.  She was a 1955 graduate of Barrington Consolidated High School. Through her 1ST marriage union, she had three sons. Thomas Edward Amidon, Daniel Arthur Amidon, and Douglas Allen Amidon, who she raised with much love and affection.

She retired from Walmart. Her most meaningful employment was with Florence Nursing Home in Marengo, where she was the director for many years.  Alice loved to bird watch, and she was an awesome baker. She also was a gardener, a crafter, and loved to paint and draw. She was a collector of anything to do with Eagles. Alice was a member of Victory Rock Fellowship church in Marengo IL. There she was famous for her cookies and her devotion to children church which she ran for many years. She was a women of strong faith, which was confirmed by her personal relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her son Daniel Arthur Amidon.

Surviving are her siblings-Arthur James Weiher, Kenneth Charles Weiher, and Beth Helen Mueller. Her son Thomas Edward Amidon and his wife Patricia.  Her Son Douglas Allen Amidon. 5 Grandchildren-Jennifer, Michelle, Taylor, Hunter, and Chase. 4 Great Grandchildren-Antoni, Colton, Whittley, and Oakes.

Alice was cremated, her service will be held January 18th 2025 at Victory Rock Fellowship in Marengo. Family time is 11:00a.m. to 12:00p.m., public visitation is 12:00p.m. to 1:00p.m., service to be held at 1:00p.m. There is a luncheon in the church fellowship hall immediately following her service. A private burial will be January 20th.
