Barbara Jean Smith

Barbara Jean Smith, 85, of Belvidere passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 in her home.  Born June 12, 1934, in Milton Township, Minnesota, the daughter of Garrol and Grace (Evans) Morris.  Barbara married Loren Cassem; he preceded her in death.  Barbara later married Harry Smith. 

She is survived by her husband Harry, two sons, Valdin Cassem, Verlin Cassem (Jane) and one daughter Julie Gustafson (Gus); 6 grandchildren, Matt Cassem, Sarah Flint, Nicole Welch, Michael Gibson, Jena Rae Cassem, Michael Cassem; ten great grandchildren and three more on the way; brothers, David Morris (Barbara) and Carrol Morris (Ellen); sister Sandra Mc Donald and many beloved nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by her father, Garrol and her mother Grace, brothers Donald Morris (Della), Dale Morris (Karen) James Morris (Christine), Richard.

Funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2020 in the Chapel at Highland Garden of Memories.
