Cathy Lee Musil Wescott

Cathy Musil Wescott, 57, of Belvidere, IL, passed away on September 4, 2025.  Cathy was known for her love of the outdoors, often found fishing or simply enjoying nature. A talented woodworker, she found joy in building and creating with her hands.  She also loved playing cards and cherished time spent with her family and friends. Her beloved cats held a special place in her heart.  Cathy worked for many years as a bartender, where her warm personality and quick wit made her a favorite among patrons and co workers alike.   She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Jehremy Klecan; grandchildren, Jade, Shawn and Julian; bonus children, Kristin Fritz, Jacob Fritz and Molly Fritz; sisters, Tamara, Pam, Lynn and Lori; brothers, Mitch, Matthew, Michael, Danny and Tommy; nieces and nephews, Brandy, Tommy, Damian, Michelle, Christopher, Robert and Jessica, as well as many extended family members.

She is predeced in death by her partner, Kelly Smith and her parents.
