Chester Heidbrink

Chester H. Heidbrink, born December 5, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on December 12, 2024 in Belvidere, at home with family by his side.  Chester was a quiet very hard working man.  He worked at a bakery after school then joined the Army where he served in the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge he worked for the railroad, then for Chrysler where he retired from.  While working for Chrysler, he was also in the Army National Guard.  Chester married the love of his life Carol on January 17, 1970, they were married for 54 years.  Chester loved car racing and spending time with his family, barbequing and working in his garage. He had a great fondness for M & M's and mint chocolate chip ice cream.  He was a very caring guy and would help you if he could.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester L. Heidbrink and mother, Marion Heidbrink.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol; daughters, Tammy Olson (Rob), Tracy Heidbrink, grandkids, Kevin Olson and Kristen Olson (Tim) and great-grandkids, Madelyn and Harper, sisters and brother and many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Abby.
