It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Father Clifford "Cliff" DeBoard, who left us peacefully on November 19, 2025, just a day after celebrating his 85th birthday. Known affectionately as Cliff, but often preferring Clifford, he was born on November 18, 1940, and has been a beacon of light in our lives ever since.
Clifford is survived by his beloved son, Shannon DeBoard, his cherished daughter-in-law, Cindy DeBoard, and his adored grandchildren; Lona, Emery and Caleb Garza, and Kasandra, Tabitha, Elijah, and Ezra DeBoard. Clifford's love for his family was immeasurable, and he was a tower of strength, often anchoring his family during stormy times.
He was predeceased by his wife and lifelong companion, Judy DeBoard, whose memory he honored every day of his life following her tragic passing. Their love was truly a testament to Clifford's big heart and capacity to love unconditionally.
Clifford had an adventurous spirit, often manifesting in his love for camping and fishing. He also had an unparalleled passion for the Harley Davidson motorcycle life, a pastime he pursued with a child's enthusiasm. These recreational activities were his avenues for relaxation and finding serenity amidst life's bustle.
Clifford's legacy will continue to live in the hearts and memories of all those who had the privilege to know and love him. His wisdom, kindness, and love for life will forever be a part of his enduring memory. Farewell, Clifford, till we meet again.
