Clifton E. Shearer

Clifton Eugene Shearer Jr., 48, of Rockford died unexpectedly on June 21, 2024.  Born October 1, 1975 to Carolyn Sue and Clifton Shearer.  He attended East High School.  He worked at Diagnostic Imaging for a longtime then Walmart as a stocker.  He enjoyed spending time with his kids, fishing, working on computers and gaming.  He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and White Sox fan.  Predeceased by his father, Clifton Shearer Sr. and grandparents.  Survivors include his kids, Zoe, Damien and Landon Shearer of Rockford; mother, Carolyn Sue James (Tim) of Rockford, brother, Bryan Shearer (Megan), sisters, Heather James (Robert) of Rockford, Dusty Kayser (Tony) of Loves Park and Melissa James (Billy) of South Beloit. Lots of aunts and uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. 

Celebration of Life will be held on July 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 7028 Ryberg Rd, Rockford, IL 61109.
