Cynthanie “Cindy” Clayton of Freeport, Illinois passed away on Sunday, February 4th, 2024 in the comfort of her childhood home in Davis Junction, Illinois, surrounded by her family.
Cindy was born on November 24th, 1971, the daughter of Lloyd and Karen Clayton (Oslund). She attended Stillman Valley Highschool and Highland Community College. She took pride in her work as the Office Manager at Barkau Automotive in Stockton, IL and Freeport, IL where she met many lifelong friends.
She was full of light, love and personality. Cindy had the most contagious laugh and brought joy everywhere she went. She was truly beautiful inside and out. Cindy wore many hats, she was a fearless daughter, a loving sister, a wise mother and a proud and playful grandmother.
She found joy in the simple things. Some of her favorites were summer cookouts, traveling and Nana Night on the weekends. Her family meant the most to her and her to them. With so much left to give, her laughter, love, kindness and strength will live on forever.
She is survived by her parents, Lloyd and Karen Clayton (Oslund), Her Fiancé, Randy Seeser, her siblings Michael and Babette Clayton, Sandy and Kevin Aughenbaugh, Her children Gary Hunt and Maureen Dooley and Brandy and Blake Meyers. Her eight Grandchildren, Owyn, Serenity, Sloane and Malachi Hunt, Byron and Rowan Alvarado, Aniston and Leighton Meyers along with many others!
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 9th at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club on 11th Street in Rockford, IL from 2:00pm – 5:00pm.
