Cynthia "Cindy" M. Crandall

Cynthia (Cindy) M. Crandall passed away peacefully, while surrounded by family at OSF Saint Anthony Hospital on Thursday November 5, 2020. Cindy was born on May 14th, 1949 in Sacramento, CA to Virginia M. Johnson and adopted by Lloyd G. Johnson upon their marriage.  As a youth, Cindy played the clarinet, taught Sunday school, and volunteered at a nursing home, where the residents fought over her. Her love of reading continued into her adulthood. Throughout her adulthood she was an animal lover. She loved dogs, cats, and horses. Among her favorites were Angelina (Corgi), Luna (mini horse), JJ (chihuahua), and Ziva (cat). When Cindy was not spending time with her family, she could be found at horse shows. She belonged to Heart of America Miniature Equine Club (HAME) and Midwest Arabian Horse Club (MAHC). 

Cindy is survived by Shawn Crandall (son), Faith (granddaughter), Amelia (great granddaughter); Shane Crandall (son), Noah (grandson); Hezekiah Crandall (son), Candy Crandall (daughter-in-law), Zachary (grandson), Michael (grandson), Monica (granddaughter); Connie Erickson (sister), David Erickson (brother-in-law), Brent Erickson Jr. ( nephew), Lora Erickson (niece). 

Cindy is predeceased by Oscar Palmer (grandfather), Lillian Palmer (grandmother); Lloyd Johnson (father), Virginia Johnson (mother); Charles (brother).

The family will receive family and friends at Delehanty Funeral Home from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday November 14th, 2020.
