Darleen Jean Stockley, age 81 of Rockford, Ill., born July 14, 1943, in Champaign, Ill. died on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at her residence. She was a patent attorney all over the country during her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, John T. and Florence B., nee Gadberry, Dixon, and her brother Jeffery Dixon. She is survived by her Brother Jesse Dixon of California and her two sons James Dale Stockley of Wheaton, Ill., and Robert DeLeon Stockley of Rockford, Ill. She was laid to rest at Precinct Cemetery in Earlville, Ill. on December 1, 2024.
