Daryn D. Turner, 59, of Orangeville, Illinois, passed away on December 29, 2024. Born
on January 15, 1965, in Iowa City Iowa, Daryn lived a life full of love and devotion to his family.
Daryn is survived by his mother and stepfather, Terry and Dale McIntyre, and was predeceased
by his father Darwin Steenblock. He is also survived by his brother Dan Turner, sister Dawn
White, as well as his nieces and nephews: Brandon, Melody, Natasha, Taylor, Tyler, and Val.
He leaves behind his beloved son Trea (Amelia) Turner, along with his three grandsons,
Grayson, Damon, and Rowan. Daryn had a deep love for animals and nature, finding peace in
the outdoors and joy in the companionship of his pets. A dedicated sports fan, he not only
followed his favorite teams but also shared his passion with others as a football coach. He took
great pride in coaching his son and mentoring other children in the Belvidere community. His
time as a coach was one of his proudest contributions, which has left a lasting impact on many
young people’s lives. Above all, Daryn will be remembered as a family man who always placed
his loved ones first. He was a man of great imagination who brought creativity and enthusiasm
to every aspect of his life. His kindness and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew
him. He will be missed by his family and friends.
