Deborah Sue Wells

Deborah Sue Wells, age 74, of Rockford, IL passed away on October 26, 2025 after a long struggle with cancer.
Born on November 18, 1950 in Rockford, IL to the late Betty Finley and Donald Finley, Deborah was a devoted mother and cherished friend.
Deborah dedicated her life to her family, always there with a listening ear and a wonderful sense of humor. She found joy in music and her personal connections to family and friends. Her infectious laughter, incredible strength, and sense of fun brightened the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her three children, Joseph Wells, CJ Wells and Stephanie Wells.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Deborah's memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an organization close to her heart.
