Dennis M. Allen

Dennis Marvin Allen passed away in his home in Belvidere, Il. He was surrounded by his loved
ones. Dennis lost a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Dennis was born in Frazier, Colorado. Dennis met his wife (Rose) in Belvidere when he shared a
blind double date. They were inseparable and married six months later and they shared 47 years
together.
Dennis loved fishing, gardening, biking, camping, picnics in the park and spending time with his
grandchildren. He loved animals including his cats and dogs.
Dennis was reunited with his mother (Katherine), his father (Howard) and his siblings Douglas,
Lynn, Kathy, and Bonnie. His mother and father-in-law (Gail and Alvin Ray Headrick). His
nephews: Brandon Bast, Adam Wright, Douglas Wayne, David, Candice, and Katherine Borges.
His Grandparents on both sides.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife (Rose) who stayed by his side for his illness along with his
two children: Tiffany (Keith) and Justin (Mandi).
His eight Grandchildren: Ariana, Ella, Starlyn, Leonard, Jaxson, Colton, Tristan, and Brooklyn.
His Siblings Henry (Shelly), Nadine Davis, Nancy Borges (Billy), Sarah Wright (Darius) and
John (Julie).
His In-laws: Johann Ford, Kim Brown, Karen Spencer (Greg), Linda Morgan (Dave), Jennifer
Valdez (Jesus).
His Nieces and nephews: Kimberly, Ben, Shannon, Tabitha, Samatha, Kyle, Nick, Cody, Selina,
Nicole, Jeremy, Eric, Heather, Miranda, Bryanna, Gabriella, Jose, Brittany, and Kameron.
We will be gathering to share our favorite memories and stories. To laugh and to cry and to
remember a wonderful person who is dearly missed.
Celebration of Life will be held:
Saturday July 5th, 2025, at 1:00 pm

Please wear Red for Dennis. It was his favorite color.
