Dennis S. Strang

Dennis S. Strang, 77, of Belvidere, passed away Thursday December 24, 2020 at Mercyhealth Hospital in Rockford.  He was born April 26, 1943 in Rockford, son of Steven and Jean (Owens) Strang.  He married Loretta Ray in July 1960 in Woodstock.  He was a proud veteran and served in the Air Force for seven years.  Dennis retired from Ipsen after many years of dedicated service traveling around the country.  He enjoyed working on computers and could fix anything.  He was an avid music lover, playing lead guitar in several bands in the area. 

Survived by daughters, Wendy (Art) Scharer of Roscoe,  and Cindy Kindschy of Woodstock;  brothers David (Edna) Strang of Belvidere, Dale (Cheryl) Strang of Mississippi, Darrell (Lee) Strang of Florida, DuWayne Strang of Belvidere; sister, Darla Biggin of Belvidere; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and his brother, Danny.

Visitation is from 1-2pm Friday January 8th in the Chapel of Memories in Highland Garden of Memories, 9700 Route 76, Belvidere, with interment in Highland Garden of Memories immediately following.
