Dixie L. Stempfle

Dixie Stempfle, 88, of Belvidere, passed December 19,2025. She was born October 31, 1937 to Chet and Fern Dudley of Oelwein lowa. She married Fred Stempfle in 1955 and later divorced in 1960. She worked hard to provide for her 3 children. At times she held down 3 jobs. She waitressed and had an office job at Arnold Engineering in Marengo. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Robert, deceased) Schmidt. Her son, Steve (Nina) and their son Jacob. Her youngest, Michael (Anna) deceased 2012 had 2 sons, Michael (Dana) and Tyler.  Her sister-in-law, Kathey (Rex, deceased) Dudley and their 4 children. She was great grandma to Michael and Dana's son, Oliver.

She was loved and will be greatly missed.  The Stempfle Family is honoring Dixie's request to not have any services during this time.
