Erik T. Nebergall

Erik Thor Nebergall was born to Harry and Bette Nebergall in Elmhurst, IL.  Erik, a long time resident of the Crystal Lake area, passed away in Garden Prairie, after a long illness.  He is survived by his children, Leia Celeste and Erik Thor, Jr., wife Heidi, sister Janet (Bob) Kelley, brothers Leif and Lars, many beloved nieces, nephews and close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diana Brooks.  He was an unstoppable force, an immovable object and built a legacy that would carry on after his death.

The Nebergall Family invites Erik’s friends and family to join in our coming together to Celebrate the man that was a Father, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend and Neighbor.  Although our hearts are broken, instead of gathering to grieve in sadness, Erik wished that we would gather to raise a glass and share laughter, smiles, stories and hugs.  He always said he wanted to write his Memoirs, so bring along your memories and stories to add to his book and share with others.  In Erik’s memory, we are wearing our favorite flannel shirt or jean jacket.
