Gloria J. Adee

 Gloria Jean Adee (54), passed away on January 29, 2026 in Rockford, IL surrounded by people who cherished her deeply.  She was born on February 24, 1971, in Rockford IL.
Gloria was a devoted mother, grandmother, friend, co-worker and a deeply caring soul whose love extended far beyond her immediate family.
Gloria is survived by her son, Johnathon (Britni) Engelbrecht and their two children (Gloria’s grandchildren) Mylie and Gabriella Engelbrecht, her daughter Samantha Gentile, Gloria’s boyfriend, her younger brother Carl Adee, and many friends and loved ones.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to her two granddaughters, who brought her endless joy. And a proud cat mom to her three cats Luna, Sunnie and Nova.
A hardworking and loving woman, Gloria always put others before herself. She had a natural instinct to care for anyone around her and worked tirelessly to provide for her family. Her heart was generous, her presence comforting, and her love unwavering.
Gloria found happiness in the simple and beautiful things in life. She loved dolphins, hummingbirds, and delighted in feeding the neighborhood squirrels peanuts, finding joy in even the smallest moments of connection. Above all, she cherished being with her family, creating memories filled with love, laughter, and warmth.
Gloria will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the way she made everyone around her feel cared for. Her love lives on through her children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched.
Gloria was preceded in death by her Brother Charles Adee (Chucky), her grandfather Harry Hackler and her mother Sandra Adee.
