James Franklin Rickkon Perkins

James Franklin Rickkon Perkins, 63, of Rockford, passed away on June 20, 2025 after a long battle with COPD. James was born July 9, 1961 in Baraboo, Wisconsin, the son of Francis and Nancy (Raschke) Perkins.

James was known as "White Eagle" to those closest to him. He enjoyed helping others, and watching them succeed. James did whatever he could to help when people were in need. He always put other people before himself, and was beyond selfless. He thrived the most when spending his days outdoors with family and loved ones. James always felt the most free when he was in the wilderness.

James is survived by his daughter, Joy (Pat) Egan, sons, James F.R Perkins Jr., John (Susan) Perkins, Joshua Perkins and grandchildren Kyra, Aydin, Dakota and Aloisa.

James is preceded in death by his parents Francis and Nancy Perkins and his brother Francis Perkins.
