James Rippy Obituary

James Lee Rippy, 65, of Polo, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024.

James was born on March 9, 1959 in Sterling, IL to Jack and Marilyn Rippy. He married Lisa Bottoms August 14, 1989. He was employed at FDL Foods for 23 years. He once enjoyed playing guitar and riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Lisa Rippy of Polo; two sisters, Sherri (Richard) Denning of Rock Falls and Vicki Rippy of Rock Falls; mother-in-law, Lois Bottoms of Rock Falls; two children, Seantai (Charles) Rippy of Polo and Ricky (Caitlyn) Rippy of Polo; six grandchildren, Ava, Charles, Ricky, Charlotte, Zoee and Vivien.

James was proceeded in death by his parents, Jack Rippy and Marilyn Rippy; step dad, Eugene Simmons; four brothers, Ricky Rippy, Timmy Rippy, Jackie Rippy and Davie Rippy; brother-in-law, Lonnie Bottoms.
