Jamie M. Smith

Jamie Michael Smith, 45, of Beloit, WI passed away at Beloit Memorial Hospital on December 19th, 2021. Jamie was born in Beloit, WI on December 13th, 1976, the son of Donna (Smith) Mankinen and Michael Hartley. Over Jamie’s working career he worked in many factories, including Frito Lay located in Beloit, WI for over 10 years. Before his passing he was working at the local Walmart in stocking. Jamie was one of the happiest, funniest people you could meet. He was always trying to get a good laugh out of you. Jamie was an avid Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders fan. He enjoyed listening to music every second of his day, and especially attending live concerts. Jamie was a devoted, loving father, friend, son, grandson, grandfather, and brother who is going to be so deeply missed by his mother, Donna (Smith) Mankinen of Beloit, WI, his son Michael Smith of Beloit WI, daughters Ariel Smith and Caitlyn Smith of Beloit WI, Grandmother Rose (Smith) Dean of Loves Park, IL, Mother of Caitlyn, Alison Smith of Beloit, WI, Mother of Michael and Ariel, Jennifer Jansich of Beloit WI,  Brother Jeremy (Kym) Smith of Beloit, WI, Girlfriend of 7 years, Shantel Hayes of Beloit WI, bonus son Aiden Hayes of Beloit WI, and his only grandchild Elijah Smith. He also leaves behind countless other family members and friends, as well as his beloved animals, Mia his therapy dog and Charlie his cat.   He was predeceased by his daughter Celia Anne Smith, father Michael Hartley, grandparents Avery and Pearl Hartley, Walter Smith, and step grandfather Thomas Dean, and his beloved cat, Pillar. Jamie will be cremated with Affordable Cremation and Funeral Service and at a later date a Celebration of Life will be held to honor and remember Jamie.
