Jefrey J. Decker, age 55, of Winnebago, Illinois, passed away on Sunday February 1st,

2026, in Cherry Valley, Illinois. Born on July 25, 1970, to Judith and John Decker, Jeff was a

man defined by his charisma, outgoing spirit, and the rare gift of bringing a smile to anyone’s

face.

Career & Character

A graduate of Willowbrook High School, Jeff dedicated 20 years of his life to a career in

Dispatch Supervision. Throughout his two decades of service, he was widely respected by his

colleagues for his unwavering dedication, leadership, and tireless work ethic. Beyond his

professional achievements, he will be remembered for his sharp sense of humor and boundless

creativity.

Interests & Legacy

Outside of his professional life, Jeff’s greatest joy was his family. He was happiest when

spending quality time with those he loved—whether they were fishing, camping, sharing their

favorite music, or simply relaxing together. His devotion to his family was the cornerstone of his

life.
