John C Heintzelman, also known to friends as Blood or Ape Hanger, received his angel wings on November 21, 2021 in the comfort of his home. His final days were spent surrounded by his wife, daughters and son in laws, and his beautiful grandchildren. John was born in Evergreen Park, IL on December 2, 1955, the son of Charles Heintzelman and Gloria Hetzel/Bertha Heintzelman
John's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. You would often find him on the golf course with friends, laughing and having a ice cold Vodka and Lemonade on a hot day, riding side by side with his best friend/son, Michael, on the Harley's, or enjoying his family, especially his grandbabies. His sense of humor was out of this world. You never knew if he was being serious or not. The grandkids, after so many years, just stopped believing anything he said, not knowing if the moon was really orange because of the wildfires or did you know, fish only swim North? He was one of a kind and no matter the situation, made everyone laugh. He met the love of his life, Jessie, in 2011. She definitely kept him young and extremely happy, while taking vacations, Florida was definitely their favorite. They had that "one of a kind" type of love and would hear them often saying "I Love you More".
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his son John C Heintzelman Jr. Surviving in addition, to his beautiful wife, Jessie Heintzelman (Schaefer), are his 3 daughters, Gina Kinsella (Heintzelman) and her husband, Michael Kinsella, Jamie Heintzelman, Tristan Glos (Schaefer) and her husband, Michael Glos. His 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, Michael Kinsella, Angelina Kinsella, Mason Kinsella, Brianna Beecroft, Emily Beecroft, Arianna Stacy, Paisleigh Adams and Kato Kinsella. His 7 Brothers and Sisters, Kim Anklam (Jake), Nicci McClearn (Joe), Robin Voight, Christina Velasquez Allen, Chuck Allen, Nick Allen, William Allen and many neices, nephews and cousins.
The Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date
