John P. Lange

With a heavy heart we say goodbye to an exceptional Father, Son, Brother, Nephew, Grandchild, cousin and Friend to so many, John Paul Lange, 29 from DeKalb IL.  John was found deceased on February 1, 2022.  John was born on May 8, 1992 in Elgin, IL and lived briefly in Algonquin IL until the family moved to Florida, and later on to South Carolina. He returned to Illinois with his family in 2003, 2 years after his father passed away.  He grew up in Sycamore, and in 2016 he began a small window cleaning and power washing business that quickly grew and was one of the top-rated businesses in the DeKalb County area.  As the owner of Wally's Professional Services John connected with thousands of like-minded individuals thru YouTube and started his own community, #Teamwashlife.  He was the father to two amazing girls who were the light of his life.  We will miss his strength, bear hugs, amazing smile, sharp wit, creativity, determination, gentleness, and love for his family. He was always willing to help people and could figure out practically anything. 

He is survived by his daughters Ava, 6, Evelyn, almost 4, and their mother Elizabeth Bray, his mother Maureen Lange, brother Colt Lange, his Aunt Marcy Daly, Uncle John Daly, Grandparents Ken and Joyce Lange, his uncle Mike Lange, and cousins Ryan, Josh, Zach, and Jesse.  He was preceded in death by his father Paul K. Lange, Grandfather and Grandmother John F. and Geraldine M. Daly and his Aunt Julie Cappelletti-Lange. 

On angels wings you flew away But in our hearts you will always stay. 

Services will be private but a celebration of his life will be planned and announced at a later date.
