John I. Roosman

John I. Roosman, 52, of Belvidere passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at home.  Born December 6, 1967, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of William R. and Linda J. (Arthur) Roosman.  John was an Assembler at Chrysler for many years.  He enjoyed cars, especially Corvettes and attended a Corvette Driving School.  John also enjoyed fishing, camping and snake hunting with his sister.  He joined many pool and bowling leagues and was loved by many close friends and coworkers. He also made his father and entire family proud when he bowled a perfect 300.  He had a knack for knowing trivial things.  John loved his brother, Jimmy.  He took great care of his parents and Jimmy, always putting their needs before his own.  John was selfless.

Lovingly survived by his siblings, Tina (James) Swonger and Jimmy Roosman; uncles, Mike (Helene) Arthur and Mark (Rosie) Arthur and nephews, Steve, Squirrel, Adam, Andrew and James.  Preceded in death by his parents.
