Judith A. Smith

Judith Ann Smith 66, Belvidere IL passed away peacefully on Feb 12, 2020.  Born Judith Ann Landsmann, on August 3, 1953, in Kankakee, IL, she was the daughter of Emerson and Mary Ellen Landsmann. She had three brothers, Lon (Debra), David (Juanita) and Rick and one sister, Sue (Brady) Sykes. She had two children, Sheri (Joe) Hammack and Scott (Carrie) Juliano both of Rockford IL also three step children, Mike (Bea) Smith and Misty Smith of Rockford IL and Michelle (Michael) Cole of Ohio. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Bethany 19, Katelin 13 and Kaylee 14.

She enjoyed the latter part of her life living at Sheffield Meadows in Belvidere, IL where she met her longtime boyfriend and love, Joe Mcvay. She loved animals, enjoyed creating art, and was an avid music lover. Judy and Joe enjoyed spending time together and dining out. Survived by her children Sheri and Scott,  brothers Lon and David and sister Sue. Predeceased by her loving parents and brother Rick. 

Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2020 in the Chapel at Highland Garden of Memories.
