June Scheri

No one tells you how hard it is to sum up the life of someone you dearly loved in just a small obituary. June Ellen Scheri, precious wife to the late Raymond Joseph Scheri, amazing mother to Jeff Scheri and his wife Michelle, loving grandmother to Raylee and Joseph Scheri and Reilly and Danielle Stevens, and beloved “big” sister to Don Olsen and Lori Olsen, left this earth peacefully on August 11, 2025. June was loved by many, a genuine person, honest to a fault. She fought bravely to the end with gratitude and joy.

June is also survived by her nephew Corey Olsen and his two children: Addy and Cody, and her precious niece Katie Rocha, her husband Dean and their three children: Marley, Zion and Damian.

June will be missed. She loved her family and her friends that became family, with a fierceness. Her time at Woodward brought her so much joy and she dearly loved her colleagues there. The OSF team that cared for her truly “cared”, and she felt it in every conversation, every offered embrace, and in every prayer lifted. Thank you to all who have loved her. The wound of her passing is deep, but that is just evidence of the impact she made.

June was living by this saying from Steve Harvey this last year during her battle: “I’m just following the footsteps God puts in front of me.”  June you followed well and may now rest.
