Lee Ann Patton Obituary

Lee Ann Patton, age sixty, of Poplar Grove IL, passed away Easter weekend in her home due to natural causes. Lee Ann is survived by her parents, Brenda Patton (Benner) and Donald Patton, her siblings Lore Fehrman (Patton), Patrick Patton, Morgan Patton, brother-in-law Scott Fehrman, sister-in-law Tina Thorson, and her niece and nephews.

Lee Ann came into this lifetime on March 11th, 1962, in Elgin Il. Lee Ann grew up in Elgin, and post high school, attended Judson Univeristy to obtain her Associates Degree in Fine Arts.

Lee Ann had a love for anything that was created out of imagination and creativity. She loved creating art from nothing, and enjoyed escaping into fantasy worlds through the written word. Being genuine and sincere was a natural trait for her, and the excitement that she would feel when talking to the ones that she loved most would radiate off of her. One of her favorite things in this life were cats, and she loved reminiscing about her great love “Lady.” She was naturally drawn to animals, and animals were always drawn to her. The purest of spirits always attract each other, and a furbaby was never too far away from Lee Ann.

Lee Ann was an observer, and was always aware of what people were experiencing and feeling. She had a way of always being able to relate to you, so when you needed someone to understand you, she was always your person. She never wanted anyone to feel alone in this world, and would always offer profound words of advice. There was a natural feeling of being comfortable in her presence, and her little quirks were always something that you looked forward to seeing. Lee Ann was the type of soul who would send you an “I love you” message out of the blue, but little did she know, it was always when you needed it the most.

Lee Ann’s family is having a private viewing in Beloit Wisconsin on April 19th, with a private gathering on April 23rd, to celebrate Lee Ann’s life.

Lee Ann was welcomed into Heaven by her grandparents, her brother Kevin, her late cat and great love Lady, as well as the family cat Paddlefoot.
