Mary McConnell

Mary McConnell, 92 passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Saturday May 21, 2022. Mary was born July 28, 1929 in Woodstock, IL to Donald and Myrtle (Collier) Shaw. She married Gabriel (Gibby)  McConnell on August 23, 1947 and she was a lifelong resident of Belvidere, IL.
They had two children Gabriel (Skip) McConnell and Mary (McConnell) Saunders. 
Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Gabriel in May 1990; her parents, brother George, and granddaughter Alyse.
Survived by son Gabriel (Audrey) McConnell, daughter Mary Saunders, grandchildren Tracey (Tim) Williams, Amy Scoville (Trisha), Lisa Kennay, Dana (Jimmy) Troxell, Michele Frailey, Nicky (Mike) Davis, Andrew (Amy) McConnell, Joseph (Jennifer) McConnell, Melinda (Jason) Lericos, great grandchildren Christopher, Ryan, Alicia, Jacob, Dylan, Colton,Tyler, Shanton, Alex, Austin, Kimmy, Noah, Caleb, Andy, Jonathon, Reilynn, Lily, Emma, Jonah, Norah and Isaac.
Memorial service on Thursday May 26, 2022 10a.m. at the chapel at Highland Garden of Memories, 9800 IL 76, Belvidere, IL.
