Michael Shook Obituary

Michael Craig Shook, 61, of Belvidere passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020. Born in Belvidere on February 22, 1959, the son of Virgil and Marie Shook. Michael retired from Chrysler. He loved to go fishing, enjoyed working in the yard and loved his cat, Peanut. He married Karen Sorrenson on July 26, 1991.

Survived by his wife, Karen Shook; mother, Marie Shook of Belvidere; stepsons, Jason White of Belvidere, Justin (Liza) White (Roscoe) and Jeramy (Jessica) Sorrenson of Brodhead; grandchildren, Megan (Patrick) McKiski of Belvidere, Parker (Ave) White of Toledo, Ohio, Brett White of Belvidere and Lindsey White of Belvidere; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Stella, Isabella, Emma Rose and Liam; brothers, Terry (Judy) Shook and Todd (Diane) Shook, both of Belvidere; sister, Mickey Shook of Belvidere; in-laws, Linda and Terry Baier of Belvidere; special and favorite aunt, Harriet (Doug) Rands of Belvidere. Preceded in death by his father, Virgil. The Shook Family would like to give a special thank you to Rick (Joyce) Davis of Belvidere.
