Michael Stahl Obituary

Michael J Stahl, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the Serenity House, Oregon Il., with family at his side. Michael, known as "Papa" or "Pop Pops" was born April 12th 1948 in Freeport, Illinois. He graduated from Loras College, settled in Byron and retired from the Rockford Post Office after 24 years of service. After retirement he enjoyed walking, crossword puzzles and most of all his grandchildren. Survived by sister Karen Lytwyn, children Gregory, Rachael(Steve Kivikko), and Joseph Stahl. Grandchildren T.J., Alyssa, Abbey and Anabelle, as well as great grandchildren Janie Jo, Harper, Nora and Makenna. May he rest in peace. No memorial services have been planned at this time.
