Roberta Mecher

Roberta Mecher, 84 passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 25, 2022. Bobbie was born November 11, 1937 in Chicago, IL to George and Minnie (Filipek) Murawski. Bobbie was happily married to Charles Mecher for 37 years, living in Chicago and Hickory Hills until Charles' passing.  Bobbie spent the last 17 years as a resident of Belvidere, IL.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles (Chuck); her parents, George and Minnie Murawski, her Sister Rita Corbally and Brother-in-law Joe Corbally.

Survived by her brother Larry Murawski and sister-in-law Bea 

Her daughters Michaline Borkowski and Debbie (Borkowski) Gingrich

Son-in-law Paul Gingrich 

Grandson Adam Gingrich

Granddaughters-Christine Mobilia, Mikki Liddell, Bianca Mobilia, Brianna Mobilia, and Cuda Mobilia 

Great granddaughter Roxanne

 and many, many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation 4pm-8pm on Tuesday May 31st at the chapel at Highland Garden of Memories, 9800 IL 76, Belvidere, IL.

Church service 10am Wednesday June 1st at St James Church 402 Church St Belvidere, IL
