Shawn Corey Wolfe

Shawn Wolfe, lived in Rockford IL but spent a lot of time in Poplar Grove IL with his family. He passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 44. Born on January 28, 1980, Shawn loved being a father. Shawn was definitely one of a kind. He had kind heart, infectious laugh and when Shawn walked in rooms, he was the glow. He was a loyal friend and a dedicated employee (loved to work), always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Shawn enjoyed spending time with his youngest daughter Isabelle, watching her cheerleader or play basketball. Anything that had to do with Isabelle, Shawn was there. He was a grandfather for 2 weeks to Amiri Shawn Cotter, birthed by Shawn’s eldest daughter, Hannah Lynn Cotter. He was a family man and loved his time with his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace knowing he made a lasting impact on those around him.
