Shirley J. Barton, 91, of Machesney Park, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024. Born July 23, 1933, in Corning, Arkansas, the daughter of Grant and Vernon (Sutton) Harbison. Survived by her children, Brenda (Don) Ruth of Valparaiso, IN, Robert Lane of Machesney Park, Michael (Marilyn) Lane of Denver, CO and Susan Vanderheyden of Rockford; 7 grand children and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, William and daughter, Cathy Wigstrom. She had many wonderful friends through her love of golf, bowling and playing cards.
