Shirley M. Myers

Shirley Mae (Lee) Myers, 90, of Garden Prairie, IL passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.  She was born July 6, 1933 in Belvidere to Ella (Blank) and Ellsworth G. Lee.  She married Robert O. Myers on December 5, 1953 in Belvidere.  She enjoyed ceramics, bingo and gambling in Las Vegas.  Survived by her children:  Geraldine Myers, Beverly Larson, Robert (Shirley) Myers Jr., Betty Myers (Scott Tendering); grandchildren Alex (Tiffany) Rednour, Raymond Rednour, Robert (Rachel) Larson, Matthew (Dana) Larson, Brooke Myers, Zander Myers, Laiken Myers; great grandchildren Anthony, Bailey, Marc, Gaius, Destinee, Carley, Kendall and 2 Larson baby girls (this summer); great-great grandchildren Connor, Rosabella, Logan; sister Ruth Romans.  Predeceased by her husband, parents, sons John and James; sister Charlotte and brothers, Emory, Raymond, Kenneth, Gordon, Stanley, Russell, Robert and Howard Lee; son-in-law Hal Larson and great grandson Raymond "Ray-Ray" Rednour.  The family would like to thank her close friend Jodi Boin and OSF Hospice Care.   Visitation will be Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 11am-Noon at the Chapel-Highland Garden of Memories, 9800 IL Rt. 76, Belvidere, IL with a graveside service at 12:15pm.
