Stuart W. Magnuson

On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Stu Magnuson, 62, of Poplar Grove, IL, ended his battle with cancer in his home surrounded by his children. Stu is survived by his children, Stephanie, Samantha (Michael), Stetson (Brooklyn), Crystal (Levi), Amber (Preston) and Jeffery.  He had so much pride in and loved bragging about his grandchildren.  Stu drove semi-truck for 23 years and farmed since the age of 17.  He was married to Kimberly Magnuson.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, building computers, but most importantly spending time with his family.  Stu grew up in Garden Prairie, where he graduated from North Boone High School.  While attending High School, he got a job on a farm for John Pepper where he worked until his last days.  We are all saddened by his passing and will miss him terribly.
