Susan C. Leifheit

Susan C Leifheit left us on February 17, 2026 at the age of 67.
Sue’s creativity in quilting and crafts was outstanding. She enjoyed making quilts for
friends and family, as well as clothing, household items, and fantastic crocheted
characters. However, her greatest joy came from her children and grandchildren. She
had always supported their interests and hobbies whether they lived far away or served
in the military. She truly gave everything she could to ensure they were happy and
successful.
She is survived by her children, Hans (Amie) Kaufenberg, Karl Kaufenberg, Miles
(Mary) Kaufenberg, and Daniel Whitt. Her grandchildren Elizabeth and Maylin
Kaufenberg. Her siblings Mike (Kim) Whitt, Mark (Susanne) Whitt, and Amy (Pat) Insco.
Her mother Janice Whitt.
She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Whitt, brother Dan Whitt, and
husband Eric Kaufenberg.
