Teddy L. Jones

CHERRY VALLEY - Born 9/11/1952 Teddy L Jones lived a life of integrity with a strong faith in God He was lighthearted and had a peaceful soul. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and wisdom, leaving behind a profound impact on his family and friends.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather ("papa"), brother and friend, Ted always placed the needs of others before his own. His unconditional love and unwavering support brought comfort to those around him. He lived a life of simplicity, finding happiness spent with his precious family. His preeminent time was spent with his grandson Jaxon working in the barn on four wheelers, dirt bikes, and chippers. He enjoyed scuba diving on vacation, camping, fishing and just spending time together.
He graduated from East High School, continuing his education at U of I in Champaign - Urbana with a masters degree in Theoretical Mechanical Engineering. He was employed at Sundstrand for 41 years.
Ted is survived by his loving wife Cindy of 50 years. Daughters Corissa, Casey, Cristy-Anna (Joe Nathan). Grandchildren Cole, Riley, and Jaxon.
Though Ted may no longer be with us physi-cally, the impact he made on our lives will forever remain. We rejoice knowing he is in our Saviors hands that hold him now.
