Theresa Kegel 50, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, October 12th, 2021 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford IL

Theresa was born July 7th,1971, the daughter of Tim Kampmeier and Sheryl Kraut. She married Todd Kegel at a motorcycle rally in Sturgis, SD. Theresa loved to say the rosary and enjoyed gardening, she would always find four leaf clovers even if she wasn't looking for them. She loved her family especially her children who she was very proud of. Theresa had a great love of animals, especially her German Shepherd “Boo Boo” Theresa enjoyed listening to music and would always sing along to every song she knew.

Survivors include her father, Tim Kampmeier and mother, Sheryl Kraut; children, Adam, Jacob, Paula, Zachariah, Anna, Amber, and Gianna; step daughter Kortni; siblings; Troy, Tina, Tabatha, Trisha, and Eric; and her father-in-law Paul Kegel; special loved ones her Fiancé David White and daughter Nicole.Predeceased by her husband Todd Kegel.

Visitation will be held at Rockford’s Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd, Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021 at 9:00 a.m, The funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m, followed by her final resting place at Calvary Cemetery on W. State Street.
