Thomas Mason

Thomas W. Mason, 76, born on March 8, 1949 in Woodstock, Illinois, died January 22, 2026 in Belvidere, Illinois.  He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

He was a member and twice Commander at VFW Post 5915 in Carpentersville, Illinois.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Mason, his daughter Jessica Williamson and son Jeffrey Mason (Cristina).  Tom was a proud grandfather to Jacob, Daniel, Ava, Mya, Aman and William.  Survivors include his sister Kathy, nieces, nephews, cousins, ex-son-in-law Rahul Williamson, Dan Allen and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Sheikh, parents Walter Mason, Loretta Mason; and sister Judy.

Thomas will be remembered for his devotion to family, deep respect for his military service and the legacy he leaves behind.

Visitation will be held from 10-11am on February 16, 2026 at St. Thomas More Church in Elgin, Illinois; followed by funeral services from 11am-12pm.
