Timmy D. Goodson

Timmy Dean Goodson, born May 22, 1945 died on November 25, 2025 at 9:30 AM. Tim was a proud veteran and member of the Navy Club Ship#1 .He also served over 30 years in law-enforcement. He had touched many lives. To say he has left a huge hole for those surrounding him, would be an understatement. His passions were fantasy football and the Cubs, his beloved Riggs and Waldo, and his dear friends Marlon and Punky Phillips  

His greatest accomplishments were his family. Tim leaves behind his son, Tim (Bo) Goodson,  Mt. Morris, Daughter Jackie (Jeff) Yount, Mt. Morris, Grandchildren, Jeffrey (Shauna) Yount, Mt. Morris and Jordan (Dylan) Inglima, Byron, IL, brother Tom (Donna) Goodson, Tx.  He is pre-deceased by his brother, Carl (Punky)Goodson and Sister Reba and his parents, Carl and Nina Goodson. He also enjoyed his many nieces and nephews.

Per Tim’s request no service is to be held. A celebration of life is planned next year.

His family wishes to thank those from Heartland Hospice and Swedish American Hospital for their genuine comfort and care to help him along his journey to remain in our lives with us for as long as he was able.
