Yvonne C. Larson

Yvonne C. Larson, 89, of Belvidere, IL., passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024. Yvonne was born on September 14, 1935 in Belvidere, IL. This is where she met and married Bob Larson and they spent 65 wonderful years together.

She was known for her witty sense of humor, refreshing candor, and immense love for her family. Yvonne enjoyed many years at their lake house in Delavan, WI. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, including reading, writing letters to friends, waiting for the mail, and spending time with her family and beloved pets. Yvonne loved watching the world outside her window and reporting the neighborhood happenings.

Her family was her pride and joy. She adored "her boys," Rob and Matthew, embraced "her girls," Rachel and Dana, as her own, and was overwhelmed with love for her "babies," Adelaide and Elin. She has missed Bob and Hal deeply and is happy to be with them again.

Yvonne is survived by her daughter-in-law, Beverly Larson; grandsons, Rob (Rachel) Larson and Matthew (Dana) Larson; her great-granddaughters, Adelaide and Elin Larson; many beloved nieces and nephews, and her caregiver, Theresa.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Agnes LeVoy, beloved husband and best friend, Robert "Bob" Larson, her dear son, Harold "Hal" Larson, brothers and sisters-in-law Laurie (Phyllis) Larson, and Bill (Mary) Larson.

Yvonne's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. We sure will miss her.
